The Ohio Wines VIP (Visitor’s Incentive Program) is designed to reward you for visiting participating wineries (they now number 76). For each participating winery you visit between now and Dec. 31, 2014 you will collect a ticket and receive the following points for each individual visit to that winery throughout the year. You may only enter one ticket code per individual winery per day, and ticket number are unique so cannot be used twice.
First Visit = 500 points
Visits 2-10 = 100 points each visit
Visits 11+ = 10 points each visit
So for example, the first time you visit Viking Vineyards, you receive 500 points. Visits 2-10 to Viking Vineyards are 100 points each visit for a total of 900 points. For each visit to Viking Vineyards after that, you receive 10 points.
The same point system works for each participating winery (500 pts. for the first visit, 100 pts. for visits 2 – 10, 10 pts. per visit after that). You can see that the points can add up pretty fast, just to do what you love doing anyway! Go to www.ohiowinesvip.com to sign up and start logging your points! Points expire Dec. 31, 2014. (Sponsored by the Ohio Grape Industries Committee of the Ohio Department of Agriculture).
