It's not too early to plan to attend our Annual New Years Eve Eve Party!! That way you can celebrate the end of the Old Year and the coming of the New Year TWICE! Or, you can just avoid the NYE madness altogether (the traffic, the police check points, etc). Join us from 6 to 10 on New Years Eve Eve to enjoy a glass or two of wine with friends and family, munch hors d'oeuvres, listen to some great fun music, and relax before you get ready for the real party the next day.
Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be out from 6PM to 8PM, then you can stay for the rocking music of The Boomers from 8PM to 10PM. Fun, fun! Reservations and pre-payment are due no later than Dec. 23, please. We can only seat the first 70 people in the Lake View Room, so don't delay! There will be no overflow seating in the Tasting Room this year, unless you specifically request it.
Menu includes my "famous" meatballs, a variety of cheeses and meat, various dips for veggies and chips, Dessert - and lots of other stuff I haven't decided on yet! The price for this celebration is only $18.00 per person again this year, tax included, due at the time of reservations. We sell out every year.
The Ohio Wines VIP (Visitor’s Incentive Program) is designed to reward you for visiting participating wineries (they now number 76). For each participating winery you visit between now and Dec. 31, 2014 you will collect a ticket and receive the following points for each individual visit to that winery throughout the year. You may only enter one ticket code per individual winery per day, and ticket number are unique so cannot be used twice.
First Visit = 500 points
Visits 2-10 = 100 points each visit
Visits 11+ = 10 points each visit
So for example, the first time you visit Viking Vineyards, you receive 500 points. Visits 2-10 to Viking Vineyards are 100 points each visit for a total of 900 points. For each visit to Viking Vineyards after that, you receive 10 points.
The same point system works for each participating winery (500 pts. for the first visit, 100 pts. for visits 2 – 10, 10 pts. per visit after that). You can see that the points can add up pretty fast, just to do what you love doing anyway! Go to www.ohiowinesvip.com to sign up and start logging your points! Points expire Dec. 31, 2014. (Sponsored by the Ohio Grape Industries Committee of the Ohio Department of Agriculture).
